There are two ways to log activities in DECKEE, automatically or manually.
How to log an activity automatically
DECKEE's On Water Detection technology can smartly detect when you go on the water and when you return to land based on the GPS of your device. To take advantage of this feature:
Make sure you have location access set to 'Always' for DECKEE in your device settings
Make sure that On-water detection is turned on in the Signal (location sharing) options
If you have these two settings enabled, DECKEE will automatically track and save your on water activities for you and save them to the logbook in your profile.
How to log an activity manually
If you don't want to use the Automatic Logbook feature, you can still log activities manually (DECKEE will still require access to your location while you are using the app).
Tap Go at the bottom of the app, then Start new trip
This will activate trip mode, showing you stats such as your current speed, distance, trip time and heading
When you are ready to begin your activity, tap Start
When you have finished your activity on the water, tap Stop
You will then be able to review your trip stats, and either save or delete it
